How much does a bathroom remodel cost in San Diego?
Refasin offers three fixed-price packages: the Essential Refresh starts at $20,000 for a half bath, the Complete Remodel starts at $30,000 for a full bath, and the Luxury Master Suite starts at $40,000. Final pricing depends on your layout, plumbing moves, and material selections, and is confirmed in writing before work begins.
Do I need a permit to remodel a bathroom in San Diego?
Most bathroom remodels that involve moving or upgrading plumbing or electrical work require a permit from the City of San Diego Development Services Department. Purely cosmetic updates, like replacing fixtures in the same location, may not. We handle permitting support as part of every package.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
It depends on scope: the Essential Refresh typically takes 2–3 weeks, the Complete Remodel 3–4 weeks, and the Luxury Master Suite 4–6 weeks.
Can I use my bathroom during the remodel?
The bathroom being remodeled will be out of use for the duration of the project. If it's your only bathroom, let us know during your consult so we can talk through options for your timeline.
What's included in the fixed pricing?
Every package includes design, permitting support, demo, and installation. We confirm your exact scope and price in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprise change orders.
Do you handle the design, or do I need my own designer?
Design is included. Every Refasin project pairs a dedicated designer with a licensed crew from first sketch to final walkthrough.
